UP Diliman gets the highest places in the October 2022 Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Exam, with all seven takers from UPD passing the exam. The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 31 out of 47 national takers passed.
UP Diliman is the top performing school in the September and August 2022 Mining Engineer Licensure Examination. All the 34 takers from UPD passed the exam with nine entering the top 10.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 253 out of 389 examinees passed the exam which is equivalent to a 65.04% national passing rate.

Congratulations to our very own Dr. Rinlee Butch Cervera for receiving this year’s David M. Consunji Award for Engineering Research given by the Philippine Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (PhilAAST) at its 71st PhilAAST Annual Convention held on 9 September 2022 at the Millenium Salon, Manila Hotel.
The David M. Consunji Award for Engineering Research was established by PhilAAST and the DMCI Holdings, Incorporated to give recognition to outstanding researchers in the field of engineering.
Congratulations to our beloved Dr. Magdaleno Vasquez, Jr. for earning the Outstanding Engineering Professor Award, and Ms. Chery Lynn Bustillos for earning the Admin Chair Awardee at the UPD College Engineering Faculty Awards 2022.
